Einstein Love Quote
Even Albert Einstein knew that knowledge is relative when it comes to love:
How on earth are you ever going to explain in terms of chemistry and physics so important a biological phenomenon as first love?

Women Lose Weight – in Every Relationship
Women and weight is always a popular topic for women’s magazines. The discussion about diets and weight loss advice continues online. A study by a diet pill manufacturer has now shown that women’s weight is linked to their relationships.

Love Letters with Style
The thing about love letters is not only can they be incredibly hard to write, but there’s a fine line between a wonderfully romantic love letter and embarrassingly cheesy love-blind drivel. Avoid love letter clichee by putting your message to that special someone on stylish and tongue-in-cheek stationery from Old Tom Foolery (unsappy, uncrappy letterpress greetings).
Not only are the cards beautifully designed, each sentimental statement of love comes with a funny bit of fine print. For example, “I love you*”….”*Statement only valid if you say you love me back.”
There’s also a selection of Birthday, Anniversary and Wedding cards. (”Here’s to the bride and groom.*”…”*Thanks for all the free booze!”)
If you need more cool wedding ideas, the Brooklyn Bride is a treasure trove of fun and interesting ideas for a really cool wedding (even if you’re not cool enough to BE a Brooklyn Bride…)
Axe Effect Really Makes Men More Attractive?
A scientific study claims to prove that the Axe effect really exists. In case you are not aware, the Axe effect is supposed to turn imbecile women into raging man-eaters. In the ads, these women chase an unattractive male whom they normally wouldn’t even touch with a pole, because he’s wearing Axe. Not the type of thing you see happening every day…
Of course, the study only managed to prove that women find it attractive when a man smells nice. Whether men smell nice when they douse themselves in Axe, you’ll have to decide for yourself. The results of the Axe effect study are after the jump. Read more
True Love Discovered!
Science has discovered something we all care about: true love that lasts, long after the butterflies are gone.
Couples were separated and each shown their partner’s picture, while their brain activity was measured. About one tenth of the couples still showed the brain activity of young love after 20 years in a relationship. The scientists named these couples “swans”, because they show the same behaviour as swans, who mate for life (maybe you remember this swan love story?). Amazingly, these couples don’t just say they love each other they are in love – after more than 20 years!
As heart-warming as that sounds, not every couple is so lucky. 9 in 10 couples in love feel a drop in dopamine levels about 15 months into the relationship. 10 years later, it’s not true love that’s left, but rather something like mutual trust and affection.
