This short lovefilm doesn’t have an exciting plot, no dialogue, no tearsome happy ending. It’s only about 7 minutes long, but nevertheless, it’s a beautiful, touching lovefilm, bound to put a smile on every viewer’s face and guaranteed to make you look forward to summer and dream of a Roman Holiday. Rome is where the young girl at the centre of the story misses her train, allowing a young man to grab the chance and show her his city at night…. but see for yourself:

The line between passion and madness can be quite fine, and easily crossed. The romantic poets knew this and the following video illustrates it. Well, not the video but the different reactions to the video. But first, see for yourself what you think of this little love story:

declare-your-love-in-the-sandLooking for an interesting way to declare your love? Not great at writing love letters? Then take your cues from sand artist ” Jim Denevan! He uses pieces of driftwood to create huge works of art on sandy beaches, which make a great impression when viewed from above. All works of art are free hand creations, without any use of scale or measure. He even created “the world’s largest freehand drawing” in Nevada.

When you’re on a beach with your boyfriend or girlfriend and you’re dying to declare your love, take the opportunity to write a creative love letter or create a piece of art in the sand. You don’t have to do the full Jim Denevan by covering miles and miles of beach. Sometimes a simple gesture is enough (see the little work of art at left ☺)!
