Although this Love Quote on Divorce and Love sounds quite flippant, there’s a lot of truth in it. And Zsa Zsa should know – she’s been married eight times (and divorced seven)!

Getting divorced just because you don’t love a man is almost as silly as getting married just because you do.

Online dating is all about choice. The big online dating websites consider a large database a proof of quality and online dating agency be2 is also proud of its over 13 million members. Even though singles only want to find one partner (on serious online dating sites, that is), they can find the right partner more easily through an online dating agency that has a lot of singles.

lots of singles - good for online dating

Smaller online dating agencies disagree – they think singles should try their luck on niche sites. But a small online dating agency has a small database, i.e. fewer singles are members.

True Love Discovered!

Science has discovered something we all care about: true love that lasts, long after the butterflies are gone.

true love can lastCouples were separated and each shown their partner’s picture, while their brain activity was measured. About one tenth of the couples still showed the brain activity of young love after 20 years in a relationship. The scientists named these couples “swans”, because they show the same behaviour as swans, who mate for life (maybe you remember this swan love story?). Amazingly, these couples don’t just say they love each other they are in love – after more than 20 years!

As heart-warming as that sounds, not every couple is so lucky. 9 in 10 couples in love feel a drop in dopamine levels about 15 months into the relationship. 10 years later, it’s not true love that’s left, but rather something like mutual trust and affection.

A strong, smart, sexy woman. Always mysterious, usually dangerous. The Femme Fatale’s powers of attraction are so strong, men fall for her and ruin themselves for her. Five factors make the Femme Fatale so attractive (and – it’s in the name – deadly)!

1. The Femme Fatale is clever, usually more so than the men she has wrapped around her little finger.
2. The Femme Fatale is very sexy, confident and surrounded by a dangerous aura. Must-have accessoire: a cigarette (films were still allowed to show people smoking them). Read more
